| Research Abstract |
九州国立博物館の文化財用大型X線CT装置を駆使して九州所在木彫像の解析データ蓄積を進めた。本調査によって得られた3次元画像をはじめとするデジタルデータは、対象木彫像の内部構造把握や納入品検出に大きな成果をもたらしただけでなく、後補材使用箇所の把握や劣化の現状把握にも高い効力を発揮した。得られた成果は、文化財の保存修復計画策定に向けた基礎データとして所有者や地元文化財保護関係者に還元するとともに、九州国立博物館での展示活動を通じて広く公開し、文化財保存の啓蒙に大きく寄与した。
