Research Abstract |
I examined the columns that Japanese American Nisei (second generation) intellectuals, Hisaye Yamamoto, S.I. Hayakawa, and Yuri Kochiyama contributed to African American Newspapers published respectively, in LA, Chicago, and New York City during and after World War II, and through the comparative analysis of those narratives, found the complex issues on the interracial alliances on the cultural as well as political aspects..
