| Research Abstract |
本研究は,会話においてイントネーション(声の高低)がどのようなパタンを持ち,それぞれがどのような機能を担っているかを,言語ごとに分析して比較することで,共通点と相違点を探ろうとした.東南アジアの3つの言語(ビルマ語,タイ語,インドネシア語)を対象として行ったが,声調言語(ビルマ語とタイ語)ではイントネーションと声調の区別の仕方を知るために,声調を詳しく調べた.声調言語でないインドネシア語についてはイントネーションのパタンとしてどのようなものがあるかを調べた.
