Research Abstract

本研究では、授業でシャドーイングを実施し、学生のシャドーイングがどのように変化したかをビデオ撮影などで記録した。その結果、学生の発音がCDの英語音声に近づき、より自然な英語に近づいていったことが確認された。しかし、ただ、シャドーイングを行うだけではなく、CD音声を聴きながら、テキストを見て音読や黙読をする、という活動も加えることにより、学生にとって取り組みやすくなることも分かった。また、テキストのデータベース化は、当初の予測よりも困難だということも分かった。
