| Research Abstract |
本研究では, 光脳機能計測の手法を用いて, 日本語を第一言語とする話者および第二言語として英語を学習している日本語話者を対象に, 第一言語(日本語)および第二言語(英語)の処理によって引き起される脳活動, 特にブローカ野の様子を観察した。実施した実験結果から, 第二言語でも, 第一言語で文を処理するのに機能した何らかのメカニズムと共通のもの, 即ち自然言語の処理において普遍的に備わっているメカニズムが機能している可能性が示された。
