| Research Abstract |
イギリスのケンブリッジ大学における経済学教育ならびに経済学の発展について研究を行った。これまでの研究では, ケインズを中心とする経済理論やピグーの経済的的福祉の分析である厚生経済学をケンブリッジ学派と理解されることが一般的であった。そのため, ケンブリッジ学派における応用経済学の分野はほとんど明らかにされていなかった。本研究では, ケンブリッジ学派の創始者であるマーシャルのもとで教育を受けたレイトンを研究することからケインズやピグーの経済学とは違う応用経済学分野での彼の貢献を明らかにした。
