Research Abstract |
This research program examined properties of organizations, markets and policies in markets for services for the elderly such as social services and long-term care service. We focused informational problems and characteristics of consumer-supplier relation peculiar to these markets. Using a concept of "relational goods", we developed a certain explanation for the advantage of nonprofit organization in those sectors.
