| Research Abstract |
フィリピン、インドネシア、中国からの日本定住日系「帰還」移民(二世~四世)について、日本と送出国の双方で実証的研究を実施した。フィリピンとインドネシアの日系人は、永住権保持者が着実に増えているが、雇用は全般に不安定で、日本語能力の不足もあり、送出国への帰属意識の変化は顕著ではなかった。中国からの日系人については、政府の支援施策もあり、日本国籍保持者が増え、「日本人」にも「中国人」にもなりきれない複雑なアイデンティティの持ち主が多いことが示唆された。
