| Research Abstract |
飲食物摂取に重要な役割を果たす味刺激に対する快・不快情動が、いかなる神経回路の働きで生じるのかを明らかにするために、味覚情報が脳内報酬系にアクセスする過程を調べた。味刺激に対する嗜好や嫌悪は大脳辺縁系に属する扁桃体内中心核の細胞集団の働きによって調節され、脳内報酬系のかなめである側坐核shell部および腹側淡蒼球を介して、実際の摂取や嫌悪の反応形成に関わっていることを明らかにした。
