Research Abstract

GaAs/AlGaAs量子井戸2次元電子系を対象に低温・強磁場の下で微弱励起光による磁気光カー回転を用いて2次元電子系1層の電子スピン偏極度のイメージングを行った。試料の0.1%以下の僅かな電子濃度の空間ゆらぎにより、スピン偏極度が分布を持つことが明瞭に可視化された。また、電流によるホール効果で生じた極めて僅かな電子分布の変化がスピン偏極度に反映し量子ホール電流のイメージングが可能であることを実証した。
