Research Abstract

金属ナノ粒子を分散した誘電体は、可視光領域の光を高速でスイッチングする光デバイス材料として有力な特性を備えている。本研究では、このような特性をさらに向上させる手法として、金属ナノ粒子の分布状態をナノメートルオーダーで制御した構造を構築することを提案した。このようなナノ構造の作製手法を開発し、その特性評価をおこなった。フォトニック結晶構造を採用することにより特性を向上することができた。また、その機構を明らかにした。
