Research Abstract

多重極磁気回路は、その大きな磁場勾配により中性子ビームを偏極させることが可能である。しかし、その偏極性能を包括的に測定した例はなく、実用化も限られている。本研究では、広いビーム開口面積を持つ偏極ヘリウム3ガスの中性子スピン・フィルターを用いることにより、多重極磁気回路を透過する中性子ビームの偏極率を包括的に測定することができた。
