Research Abstract

本研究の第一の研究成果として、研究ターゲットとして注目した物質群の構成原料であるBEDSe-TTF分子の大量合成したことを言及しておきたい。ここでは、合成研究の専門家の助言に従い、効率的な合成ルートにより、高純度の分子を合成することに成功した。次に、得られた分子を用いて、二種類のBEDSe-TTF系電荷移動錯体の良質単結晶合成に成功した。これらについては、常圧及び低圧下での、伝導物性と磁気物性のキャラクタリゼーションを経て、キュービックアンビル型圧力発生装置を用いて、8GPaまでの高圧下物性を調査した。両塩とも、常圧では、強い半導体的振る舞いを示していたが、超高圧印加にともない、この振舞いは抑制され、両塩ともに高温部での金属化に成功した。得られた結果は、同型のBEDT-TTF塩との結果と比較し、議論した。
さらに、BEDTSe-TTF系と同様の強いダイマー構造を持ち、しかも同様に一次元伝導を示すアクセプター型伝導体MEM(TCNQ)_2の常圧下における磁性の研究、及び超高圧下物性研究を行った。得られた結果を総括すると、アクセプター系物質においては、ドナー系物質で見られたような超高圧下での抵抗の急激な減少は見られなかった。この事実は、一次元ダイマー構造を持つ系においては、アクセプター系物質を高圧印加によって金属化することは困難であるとの結論を得た。
