Research Abstract

リソスフェアに含まれるランダムな小規模不均質構造のモデルとして介在物分布を考え、それによる地震波エンベロープ(包絡形)形成を理論と数値実験の両面から検討した.その結果、実験結果を定量的に再現できる理論や、エンベロープの形状を規定するモデルパラメータ等を確認し、実際の観測エンベロープへの介在物分布モデルの適用可能性を示した.また不均質構造の不連続性がエンベロープ形成に及ぼす影響について若干の知見を得た.
