| Research Abstract |
20世紀後半の全球平均海洋海面水位トレンドの熱膨張成分(熱膨張トレンド)とその要因を海洋大循環数値モデルを用いて調べた。その結果、海洋観測水温資料から求められた海洋表層における熱膨張トレンドの要因は、風応力による海洋循環の変化が30%、海面での加熱による変化が70%であることが明らかとなった。本研究成果は、全球平均海洋熱膨張トレンドには海面での加熱だけでなく風応力に対する力学的応答が含まれていることを海洋大循環数値モデルの感度実験によって初めて示したものである。
