Research Abstract

電磁粒子プラズマシミュレーションコードを用い、テアリング不安定による磁気島が大スケールへと融合する過程の数値実験を行った。計算規模を変えることで初期状態の磁気島の個数を変化させながら、磁気島群が大スケールに発達する様子を調べた。その結果、小スケールの磁気島融合の場合と大スケールの磁気島融合の場合の結果の差から、磁気島合体時における電子加速過程にいくつかの段階があることを明確に示すことに成功した。
