| Research Abstract |
白亜系~新第三系の日本の代表的な付加体(四国南部・長野県南部・静岡県・千葉県房総半島)において,泥岩有機物の濃度・起源,最大古地温および堆積環境等の復元・検討を行った.その結果,有機炭素濃度が最大11%までの泥岩層が確認され,最大古地温は全域で60~270℃と推定され,100km幅で1000年間に約1ギガトンの炭化水素が発生していることが分かった.この値は,世界最大のガワール油田(サウジアラビア)の約10分の1弱の規模に相当する.付加体が「大規模な長期継続型炭化水素生成システム」として成り立つことが示唆された.
