Research Abstract

核融合をおこすためにはプラズマを1億℃程度まで加熱する必要があり、このために水素負イオン源を用いたプラズマ加熱装置が考えられている。
負イオン源内のプラズマは、壁での損失を抑えるためにカスプ磁場により閉じ込められているが、一部のプラズマ粒子は壁で損失する。
本研究では、壁でのプラズマ損失を解析する上で重要なシースポテンシャルについての解析を行ない、磁場がある場合の壁近傍でのポテンシャル分布を明らかにした。
