Research Abstract

原子から多数の電子を奪い取った多価イオンはあらゆる粒子の中でも, 最も反応性にとんでいる. この多価イオンを固体表面に静かに近づけるだけでさまざまな現象が起こり, 特に固体表面への「ナノ構造物」の生成はナノ加工技術への応用が期待されている. ここではそのメカニズムを探るため,同時に起こる光(エックス線も含めて)の発生について調べた. その結果はそれぞれのターゲットにより様々であるが,固体から多価イオンへの電子の移動,それに続く多価イオンからの電子の再放出の2つの過程に伴うものであることがはっきりした.
