Research Abstract

分子の励起状態を詳細に知ることにより、分子の構造や変化を知ることができる。特に、基本的な多原子分子の分光学的研究は、物質の基本的性質を明らかにすることができる。本研究では紫外領域における高出力・高安定なレーザー光源、および、気体分子のドップラーフリー超高分解能レーザー分光装置を開発し、ベンゼンやナフタレンといった基本的な芳香族分子の励起状態の精密分光計測を行い、励起分子の構造と状態間相互作用に関する知見を得た。
