| Research Abstract |
ケイ素=ケイ素二重結合化合物の1電子酸化で得られるカチオンラジカル種では、スピン及び陽電荷が二つの骨格ケイ素上に非局在化した電子状態を持つのに対し、1電子還元で得られるアニオンラジカル種ではスピン及び陰電荷が各々の骨格ケイ素に局在化した電子状態を持つことを明らかにした。また、二つのケイ素ラジカル種をパラ-及びメタ-フェニレン基で連結した分子を合成し、パラフェニレン体は閉殻1重項分子である一方、メタフェニレン体は基底3重項状態を示すビラジカル種であることを明らかにした。
