Research Abstract

分子性物質で様々な磁気特性を実現するため、環状チアジルラジカル誘導体と反磁性アニオンとの塩結晶を調製し、系統的に結晶構造解析並びに磁気測定を行った。環状チアジルラジカルBBDTA+はサイズの異なる様々な正四面体アニオンと組み合わせることで強磁性、メタ磁性や反強磁性等の秩序磁性やspin-Peierls転移等、多彩な磁気挙動を従来の分子磁性体と比べても高い磁気転移温度で実現することに成功した。本来二量化しやすい有機ラジカルをカチオンとして、適切な対アニオンと組み合わせる手法は高い機能を有する分子性磁性物質を合成する上で、単純かつ有効な方法であることを明らかにした。
