Research Abstract

(CH_3)_4NF・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)と(CH_3)_3NF・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)および(C_2H_5)_4NF・mHF(m=3.5~4.5)と(C_2H_5)_3N・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)の電気伝導度および粘度を25~100℃で測定した。いずれの系においても、温度の上昇およびm値の増加に伴い,電気伝導度は増加したが、粘度は減少する傾向が得られた。R_4NF・mHFとR_3N・mHFの電気伝導度やその活性化エネルギーの比較から、カチオンは、R_4^+やR_3NH^+であることが確認された。また、(CH_3)_4NFと(C_2H_5)_3N・mHFの電気伝導度および(CH_3)_3N・mHFと(C_2H_5)_3N・mHFの電気伝導度を比較すると、いずれも後者の方が低い値となっている。前者のカチオン(CH_3)_4N^+や(CH_3)_3NH^+と後者のカチオン(C_2H_5)_4N^+や(C_2H_5)_3NH^+とを比較すると、後者の方が大きなイオン半径を有しているため、溶融塩中でのカチオンの移動が妨げられたと考えられる。さらに、電気伝導度と粘度の積、いわゆるワルデン積は一定にはならず、mの値の増加につれて減少した。(CH_3)_4NF・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)と(CH_3)_3N・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)の結晶構造に基づき、常温溶融塩中に存在するイオン種とHFとの水素結合の強さの違いにより、各挙動について考察した。
(1)ニッケル電極を用いて(CH_3)_3N・mHF(m=3.5~5.0)+CsF・2.3HFの混合液を、(2)LiNiO_2被覆ニッケル電極を用いて(CH_3)_3N・mHF(m=3.0)電解液を、(3)BDD電極を用いて(CH_3)_3NF・mHF(m=3.0~5.0)電解液を電解した。いずれの場合も陽極生成ガスの成分は同じであったが、(3)の場合に(CF_3)_3Nの生成割合が最大であった。それは、電極表面上に電気伝導性とフッ素化能のあるCsNi_2F_6被膜が生成し、それが電極からの発熱を低下させてC-N結合の裂断を起こり難くするばかりでなく、電極近傍の解液中にある部分フッ素化物をさらにフッ素化して(CF_3)_3Nを生成するためと考えられる。
