Research Abstract

2次元半導体レーザは、従来のストライプ構造の半導体レーザに比べて多彩な発振モードを示す。本研究では、2次元半導体レーザから出力される複数のビームをそれぞれ光ファイバに結合させるための光結合系を設計した。最適な光学部品を用いることにより、マルチモード光ファイバで21.6%、シングルモード光ファバで9.6%の結合効率が得られることを数値計算により明らかにした。さらに、市販の光学部品を用いて光結合系の試作を行った。
