Research Abstract

代表的な熱電変換素子であるBi、及び(Bi, Sb)2Te3のマイクロワイヤーの作製法を確立し、ハーマン法に基づき、熱電物性評価装置の開発、評価実験を行った。バルク素子では本題の非平衡定常状態の発現とその物理的機構を明らかにした。また、熱電性能指数と結晶の配向性(結晶の異方性)の関係を詳細に調べ、熱電素子の高性能化のための指針を明らかにした。
