| Research Abstract |
マイクロメートル領域における金属材料の機械的性質の寸法依存性を実験により系統的に調査するとともに, 材料物理に基づく塑性理論の構築を目指して研究を行った. 実験研究においては,板厚の異なる純アルミニウム箔材を用いて, 引張・曲げ試験を行った. 引張試験では板厚減少につれて降伏応力のみが上昇するが, ひずみ勾配を伴う曲げ試験では降伏応力とひずみ硬化係数とが共に上昇することを確認した. 高次ひずみ勾配効果を考慮した結晶塑性理論を整備し, 数値解析により現象の再現を試みた.
