Research Abstract

レーザーマイクロプローブを用いて, ディーゼル燃料噴霧液滴の速度およびサイズを計測した. サイズが約0.5μmのオイルミストを空気流動のトレーサーとして供給し, 液滴とオイルミストの速度差から液滴ウエーバー数を評価した. 噴霧中心から噴孔径の約5倍の位置で液滴のサイズ減少および数密度増加が観察され, この位置で液滴ウエーバー数10程度の液滴が観察されたことから, バグ分裂が生じているものと判断された.
