Research Abstract

本研究は, 超音波BDF合成においてより効率の良い合成法を実現するため, 2年間の研究通じて下記の研究成果を得ることができた.
合成実験では, まず, 超音波ソノケミストリー効果によるBDF合成への影響を明らかにした. 続いて, 同合成法を多種類の植物油への適用実験結果から本方法の妥当性を確認できた. さらに, 量産化に備える流通型超音波BDF合成実験や水洗い作業の必要がなく, 固体塩基触媒を利用する超音波BDF合成法を樹立させた.
BDF品質測定実験では, 合成されたBDFの物性値(粘度, 比重, 表面張力, 流動点など)測定を行った. また, 脂肪酸メチルエステルの分子式からBDF燃料理論発熱量の計算法を確立させた.
小型エンジンを用いるBDFの燃焼実験では, 軽油よりBDFを使う場合, 排気ガスの黒煙濃度が低くなるものの, NOx濃度が高くなったことがわかり, 適切な噴射時期の調整により, 最適なBDF利用が可能であることが判明した. 一方, 噴射実験の結果から, BDFの噴射角度が軽油に比べてより小さいことが確認された.
