Research Abstract

電子スピン共鳴(ESR)によりスピンのエネルギーレベル遷移を促し、非平衡分布を形成することにより生じる巨大な電子スピン分極を核スピンに移行して、NMR装置の感度を向上するためのDNP(動的核分極)法をサブテラヘルツ波領域で新たに開発し、蛋白質分子の構造解析に応用するための高出力サブテラヘルツ光源として、395GHzで安定にCW動作する出力50Wの二次高調波ジャイロトロンを開発した。
