| Research Abstract |
WCに2.5 vol%以上SiCを添加することでWCの焼結性が改善された。WC-4.85 mol% SiCセラミックスは1900℃の無加圧焼結で十分緻密化するが, WC粒径が7μm以上となり, 硬さが低下した。VC 添加は粒成長の抑制には効果的であるが, 焼結を阻害し, 常圧焼結には適さなかった。Cr_3C_2の添加は粒成長を抑制するとともに, 少量添加で, 焼結性を向上させ, 緻密な焼結体の1800℃での作製を可能とした。
