Research Abstract

植物細胞に特異的に発現しているミオシンの一つであるクラスVIIIミオシンの機能を、タバコ培養細胞BY-2を実験材料として用い解析を行った。間期の細胞では、ミオシンVIIIのドット状シグナルが細胞質中に観察され、分裂期になると紡錘体の両極、そして細胞版に集積した。またBY-2細胞からこのミオシンを部分精製して、in vitro運動再構成系によって滑り活性を解析した。その結果、このミオシンも運動活性を有することが示唆された。
