Research Abstract |
植物界に特異的なAS2ファミリーのメンバーは、極めて特徴のある約100アミノ酸からなるドメイン構造(AS2/LOBドメイン)をもつ。本研究においては、最も研究が進んでおり、シロイヌナズナの葉の発生・分化に重要な機能をもつことがわかっているASYMMETRIC LEAVES2(AS2)に着目して解析した。AS2のAS2/LOBドメインは核と核小体周縁部の局在に必要であることがわかった。また、AS2/LOBドメイン内のアミノ酸配列はAS2の機能において極めて特異的であることがわかった。
