Research Abstract

ユビキチン類似タンパク質MNSFβが細胞内でアポトーシス促進因子Bcl-Gと共有結合し、フラボノールの一種、ケルセチン (quercetin)がこの複合体形成を調節することを明らかにした。ケルセチンはアポトーシス誘導を制御することで知られるが、その機序にMNSFβ/Bcl-G複合体形成が関与していると考えられ、実際にsiRNAによるノックダウン実験でこれを証明した。
