Research Abstract

腸球菌V-ATPアーゼは9つの種類のサブユニットから構成されているイオン輸送性回転酵素である。本酵素の分子メカニズムを明らかにするためには、各サブユニット間の相互作用の全体像を明らかにすることが必要不可欠である。各サブユニット遺伝子の欠失株、大腸菌大量発現系、無細胞の蛋白質合成系などの利用を通じて、親水性サブユニット間の相互作用が明らかになった。
