Research Abstract

病原性アミロイド線維形成性のアミロイドβ等の複数のタンパク質について、そのアミノ酸配列から選んだ2 つの配列部分と人工的な屈曲部分とを組み合わせた形の新規ペプチドを設計し、その系統的な合成とアミロイド形成能の評価から、アミロイド線維形成に必須の配列領域と共通の基本的相互作用様式を明らかにした。さらに線維形成に必要な幹領域を有するが線維形成しない単一変異を見いだし検出技術への応用可能性を示した。
