Research Abstract

ストレス対応反応において重要な役割を担う熱ショックタンパク質群の遺伝子発現は、プロモーター領域にあるHSE配列とこれに結合する熱ショック転写因子(HSF)により制御されている。本研究では、酵母, シロイヌナズナ, 線虫, ショウジョウバエ, ゼブラフィッシュ, ヒトのHSFのHSE配列特異性について検討して。生化学的、および、酵母菌・HeLa細胞での発現実験より、これらのHSFは多様なHSE配列を認識することが明らかになった。HSE配列の多様性は、ストレスや遺伝子特異的な転写に関すると考えられる。
