| Research Abstract |
出芽ホヤ生殖系列の再生を実行している間葉系幹細胞ヘモブラストを、分子レベルでcharacterizeし、RNA干渉法で機能を検討した。生殖系列幹細胞は、Vasa, Piwi, Myc, RACK1を強く、Nanosを弱く発現した。VasaとRACK1は、生殖腺形成に必須である。Piwiは、Vasaより広い範囲の生殖系列細胞で発現した。本研究結果は、Vasa^-, Piwi^+ヘモブラストが生殖系列の供給源(前駆細胞)であり、ホヤ生殖系列は、Piwiに代表される分子によって体細胞系列から仕切られていることを支持した。
