Research Abstract |
Toxic subunit of Kluyveromyces lactis killer protein (zymocin), is transported into cell of sensitive yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SC). In this study we found that the activation of cell intregrity pathway (PKC pathway) of SC is needed for the transportation.
