Research Abstract

マルチ遺伝子型 Na^+/H^+対向輸送体であるSha輸送体は、緑膿菌の病原性に関与する。そのメカニズムを定常期移行との関わりから明らかにすることを目標とした。Sha欠損株では、定常期シグマ因子RpoS及びクオラムセンシングの活性化がNaCl依存的に阻害された結果、その制御下にある病原性遺伝子の発現も抑制されることを明らかにした。このことは、緑膿菌Sha欠損株の病原性の低下に寄与していると考えられた。
