| Research Abstract |
タンパク質架橋酵素であるトランスグルタミナーゼは、高等動物では8つのアイソザイムが多彩な生命現象に関わる。反応においては基質中の特定のグルタミン残基を酵素が認識する。こうしたグルタミン残基を含む最小基質としてのペプチド配列を、ファージ提示型ライブラリを用い、皮膚特異的酵素や産業利用されている放線菌由来酵素について解明した。最小基質配列に相当するペプチドを用い、高感度な酵素活性検出系の確立や有用な機能タンパク質の固相化などの応用的展開も行った。
