Research Abstract

高温下で糖化反応が可能な超耐熱性エンド型セルラーゼ酵素および超耐熱性βグルコシダーゼ酵素をゲノム情報から選択し、その反応性と基質特異性を調べた。さらに、これら酵素の立体構造解析にも成功し、触媒部位の情報および酵素反応が停止するメカニズムを解明した。これら酵素の反応条件を整えることで、そのシナジー効果を解析し、セルロースを完全糖化(糖化効率100%)可能な加水分解系を構築することに成功した。
