Research Abstract

葉の形態(厚さ)、水分生理(蒸散速度、気孔コンダクタンス)、木部の通道組織(道管要素の数(単位面積当たり)、占有面積率)には産地による地理的特性が確認され、また確認された葉の形態、水分生理と木部の通道組織との間に明瞭な相関性が認められた。しかし、地理的特性が見られなかった葉の大きさや道管の大きさに関しては有意な関係は見出せなかった。また、地理的特性が認められた葉や道管の組織形態や水分生理特性について、冬の降水量が密接に関係していることが明らかとなった。
