Research Abstract

ポリウレタン(PU)フォームとオガクズ(SD)の水分吸収性能と放出性能を比較したが、PU もオガクズと同程度の性能を持つことが分かった。実際、馬糞と食品廃棄物モデルとしてのカニガラ廃棄物をコンポスト化する能力があることが証明された。PU とSD 系馬糞コンポストはコマツナなどの植物に対して、発芽率を抑制することもなく、特にカニガラのPU コンポストはオガクズ同様に、コマツナの成長を促進する効果をもたらしたので、PU 系の廃棄物を安全に土壌還元できる可能性が示唆される。
