Research Abstract

本研究によりスサビノリから完全長のLTRレトロトランスポゾン(PyRE1G1)が分離された。これは, 大型海藻類からのレトロトランスポゾン分離の初めての例である。PyRE1G1は硫酸銅添加やプロトプラスト処理などのストレス処理に応答し転写が増大したことから, 養殖ノリの分子育種や遺伝子解析への利用が期待される。
