Research Abstract

魚類が細菌感染したときに用いられる化学療法には多くの問題があるため、新たな対処方法が望まれている。本研究では、プロバイオティクス技術を魚類の養殖に応用し、細菌感染症の防除法を確立することを目的とした。乳酸菌やビブリオを魚類腸管から分離して、魚類に投与したところ、魚類飼育水中の病原細菌数が顕著に減少したことから、これらの細菌がヒラメなど多くの魚類のプロバイオティクス菌として有望であることが示唆された。
