Research Abstract

麻痺性貝毒変換酵素は本研究代表者のグループが世界ではじめて2種の国産二枚貝から単離に成功した酵素である。本酵素の起源を解明するためサラガイとバカガイの麻痺性貝毒変換酵素性状を比較したところ、異なる分子種の酵素と推定された。さらに遺伝子のクローニングを試みサラガイのライブラリーからスルホカルバミラーゼIの遺伝子の候補と考えられる121bpの断片を得た。遺伝子の全長取得にむけて今後の研究が展開できる成果であった。
