Research Abstract

レプトスピラ症は人獣共通細菌感染症である。本研究では全国47都道府県から集めた犬血清を材料としてMAT法を行い, 我が国における犬レプトスピラ感染状況を明らかにした。その結果、icterohaemorrhagiaeに潜在感染している犬が日本全国に広く分布していることが明らかとなった。また、我が国の野生アライグマがレプトスピラを保有していることを明らかにし、公衆衛生上、監視が必要であることを示した。
