Research Abstract

増殖因子EGF受容体ファミリーは、肺がん、乳がんをはじめ多くのがん細胞で過剰発現や変異等が報告されており、がん悪性化に密接に関与している。一方、サイトカインTNF-αはストレス応答シグナルを活性化し、がん細胞の生存や転移などに密接に関与している。本研究では、TNF-シグナルとEGFシグナルがTAK1キナーゼを介して相互に影響しあい、それぞれのシグナルに対して抑制的に作用することを見出した。
