| Research Abstract |
3-methylcholanthrene(3MC)などのアリル炭化水素受容体を活性化する化合物(アゴニスト)がマウスの精子産生機能に影響を及ぼすか、研究を行った。その結果、3MCによるマウスの精子産生機能障害は観察されなかったが、培養細胞において3MCによる遺伝子転写の活性化を男性ホルモン5α-dihydrotestosterone(DHT)が抑制することを明らかにした。以上の結果から、本研究条件下、DHTは3MCの作用に対し防御的に働く可能性が考えられた。
