Research Abstract

Ca^<2+>センサーNCS-1 は、シナプス伝達や可塑性など神経機能に重要な役割を担うことが知られているが、心臓における生理的・病態的役割は全く知られていなかった。本研究により、NCS-1 が心臓においても未成熟期や病態時にその発現量が上昇し、心筋Ca^<2+>シグナルを調節して収縮、ストレス時のサバイバル、またホルモン刺激による心肥大形成にも寄与する可能性があることを明らかにした。
